MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Garland are on the lookout for three, believed to be, juvenile suspects who robbed a Dollar General Store clerk at gunpoint.

The aggravated robbery happened Sunday at the Dollar General Store in the 4500 block of Gus Thomasson Road.

As you see in the video above, the two black males and one hispanic male entered the store and immediately went to the clerk, who was standing at a cash register. One of the suspects pulled a gun out of his shorts, pointed it at the clerk, and demanded money.

While the armed suspect, seen in the red shorts and black tennis shoes, held the gun, the two other suspects gathered round as the clerk was forced to open the register. The suspects grabbed money and then ordered the clerk to open a nearby safe. When the worker was unable to open the safe, the gun wielding suspect fired a round into the ceiling sending debris raining down.

Immediately after the shot was fired all three suspects ran out of the business, and according to a witness fled on foot. The witness also said the robbers were stuffing money in their pockets as they ran.

At some point the witness began following the suspects, but said when they realized a gunshot was fired in their direction. Ultimately, the suspects were seen getting into a black Nissan Titan pickup and leaving the area.

Neither the witness, clerk, or any others in the area were hit by the gunshots.

Anyone with information about the store robbery or wanted suspects is asked to contact Mesquite police at 972-329-8301 or call Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000 for information that leads to arrests and indictments in the case.
