Police Nab Alleged Killer Before He Flees

GRAND PRAIRIE (KRLD 1080) - Grand Prairie police say they have nabbed a killer before he attempted to flee.

Police say they received a call from a homeowner that a woman had collapsed on her lawn and was bleeding heavily. When they arrived they found the woman who had suffered several stab wounds.

She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

As the investigation went forward, police say they determined her estranged boyfriend was the killer and found him preparing to leave the area in Dallas.

John Stover, 20, is currently being held on a murder charge with a 250,000 dollar bond.
