Police Investigating Sex Assault Near SMU Campus
UNIVERSITY PARK (CBSDFW.COM) - An SMU student says she was raped Sunday night by knife-point near the SMU campus.
University Park Police are investigating the sexual assault, which occurred about 11:15 p.m. in the 6700 block of Willard, about a half mile from campus.
The victim reported that she was jogging the suspect grabbed her from behind and showed a small knife.
Police say the suspect was wearing a white California Angels shirt, blue shorts and white high-top shoes. He's described as 6 feet tall and in his early 20s.
