Police Investigating Deadly Shooting In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police say they are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Saturday afternoon at the 200 block of West Montana Avenue.

Police say officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:50 p.m. and when they arrived at the location, they found a male with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

Police say the homicide unit is investigating and no suspect is currently in custody.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
