There's been some social media chatter about the death, but parents who talked with CBS 11's Robbie Owens, say they don't want online gossip, they want facts-- especially if there is some ongoing threat because there are several schools near here.

"If this was a crime, there is absolutely no way I would let them walk two feet out of the front door. Honestly, when I saw the yellow tape my first instinct was to u-turn and go get my children. I stopped hoping I could get some answers, and I've got none," said concerned parent Julie Meehan.

Meehan said many children walk or ride their bikes to school in the community and parents want to know if there is a killer is on the loose.
