Police: Husband, Wife Found Dead In Murder-Suicide

CARROLLTON (CBSDFW.COM) - After an hours-long SWAT standoff, Carrollton Police say a husband who had shot and killed his wife, ultimately shot himself to death in a home in the 4100 block of Creekhollow Drive.
Police say officers found Roy Lee Brown, 46 and Areli Brown, 52, dead in their home after receiving a 911 call from Roy Brown's boss around 10:30 a.m. Thursday saying something was wrong.
North Texas Metro SWAT officers spent hours negotiating with Roy Brown during which time neighbors were not allowed to come of go as a precaution.
The standoff ended around 3:00 p.m. when Brown shot himself according to Carrollton Police.
The street reopened around 3:30 p.m. but police remained at the house to continue their investigation.
