Police Arrest Wilmer Murder Suspect

 WILMER, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas County sheriff's deputies and police arrest a suspect that was at-large and accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of Geller Road in Wilmer, at around 11:35 p.m. Saturday night.

The suspect is 28-year-old Rodney Keeton.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Wilmer police began chasing the suspect a little after midnight until he jumped out of his vehicle and ran into a mobile home park near Edd Road and Highway 175.

Police from Dallas and Balch Springs aided in the search.
