Police Arrest Man Caught On Tape Robbing 64-Year-Old Woman

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police say they have arrested the man seen robbing a 64-year-old woman on a Walgreens surveillance tape.
The video, which was posted on Youtube, shows Fabio Salmeron, 27, standing behind the woman on June 21, for several seconds as she checked out at the Walgreens, located at 2602 Fort Worth Avenue in Dallas. As she appears to wrap up her transaction, he grabs her wallet and knocks her to the ground as he tries to snatch it from her hands.
Police released the video on July 1, asking for help to identify the man. They say they were able to identify him and arrest him on July 9. Salmeron has been charged with Theft From Person, which is a state felony.
