Police Arrest Teenager For Beating Of Woman in Dallas Park

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A 16-year-old has been arrested for the brutal beating of a woman found nude in a Dallas park.
The 52-year-old victim was found close to midnight in September 2014, at Opportunity Park off Malcolm X Boulevard. She was seen walking before she was beaten and was rescued when people nearby heard her moaning in pain.
Police say they linked the teenager to the crime with DNA evidence. Dallas Police are bringing him back to North Texas from a juvenile facility in Brazos County. He will be charged with Aggravated Assault.
Dallas police detectives are still interested in talking to anyone who was in the area that night who might have seen or spoken with the victim.
