Plano Police Capture Suspect After Report Of Kidnapping

PLANO (CBSDFW) - Plano police have detained a suspect in an alleged kidnapping.
Police reports say a an emergency call was received early Thursday morning from the father of a 20-year old woman - who he believed was kidnapped by his daughter's ex-boyfriend.
Police said the father had video of his daughter being forced into a vehicle by her ex-boyfriend.
Reports say the suspects vehicle was located later this morning at the Days Inn in the 1900 Block of Preston Road in Dallas.
The ex-boyfriend was located in the motel, but jumped from the 3rd floor and slipped away before police were able to detain him.
He was later apprehended after running through a nearby apartment complex.
Police say the woman appeared to have injuries from the struggle but did not require medical attention.
