PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Plano police confirmed the body of a 36-year-old woman who was reported missing Tuesday was found in Dallas at Lake Ray Hubbard over the weekend.

Megan Leigh Getrum was reported missing after family or friends did not hear from her over the weekend.

Detectives searched Arbor Hills Nature Preserve after the area was reported to be her last known location according to family.

Her family last heard from her Friday when they understood her to be in the park where she often hiked deep into the woods off the paved trails. Her family also said she lives alone in an apartment near the park.

Police shut down the park Wednesday to concentrate on finding Getrum.

The search was called off after it was determined a body that was found in Dallas Saturday proved to be the missing woman.

According to police, Getrum's body was found at Lake Ray Hubbard.

Plano police received information on the body and identification Wednesday afternoon.

Plano detectives along with Dallas police will work together to figure out the cause of death.

Police said they have not found anything suspicious in Getrum's life to provide any lead or answers to the mystery of her death.
