PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) -Plano Police believe they have arrested the man linked to several burglaries in Plano.

18-year-old Cedric Dewayne Smith Jr. was arrested on Saturday morning at 12:30am during a traffic stop.

Smith was noticed by Plano police officers driving a stolen vehicle through a neighborhood.

Police say the linked Smith to the recent Plano burglaries.

The burglaries were committed during early morning hours when residents were home.

Plano police officers have not given specifics on evidence that links Smith to the Plano burglaries.

Right now Smith is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle. Other charges may follow.

Another burglary suspect, Farhood Sani Allahdadi, was arrested earlier in the week.

Police said he was caught climbing out of the window of a home carrying a bag of stolen property.

Police said they do not believe Allahdadi is linked to the rash of other burglaries, which were clustered approximately seven miles from where Allahdadi was arrested.
