MCKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) - Enrique Arochi appeared in a McKinney courtroom on Thursday. The 24-year-old man is facing aggravated kidnapping charges following the disappearance of Fort Worth woman Christina Morris.

Arochi is the last person who was seen with Morris. She vanished from a Plano parking garage at The Shops at Legacy in August after a night out with friends. Arochi and Morris are former high school classmates.

Detectives believe that Morris was inside of Arochi's vehicle when it left the parking garage.

Police said that DNA samples led to Arochi's arrest. Investigators reported finding bodily fluids and hair in the trunk of his car. Several laboratories are still testing the evidence. The arrest was made back in December.

Authorities have also said that Arochi has made many false statements over the course of the investigation, which have hindered detectives. Police have accused the Allen resident of lying about where he parked his car on the night that the victim disappeared, and about who he contacted after the disappearance.

Morris has still not been located.

Attorneys for Arochi on Thursday are seeking to lower the suspect's bond. Members of both the Morris family and the Arochi family are in attendance. Defense attorneys are questioning witnesses including police detectives and those who were with Morris shortly before her disappearance.
