Plano Adjusting Ways Its Traffic Lights Work

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Plano drivers may notice a change in how their stoplights function during their daily commutes.

The city is adjusting the timing of most of its lights, which means drivers may make it through the city faster.

They will see the biggest difference on major thoroughfares since most lights will be synced, making it possible to go farther without hitting a red light.

The timing changes began this summer; the city will finish in 2017.
