IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - An overturned big rig has Loop 12 shut down in Irving.

The crash happened after 5:00 a.m. in southbound lanes at State Highway 114. The Lisanti foodservice truck lay down on its side for hours this morning, with the trailer broken through a concrete barrier and spread across three lanes.

Responding officers say the truck was fully loaded with pizza supplies. Crews could be seen wrapping the still intact boxes preparing to offload them.

While nothing from the trailer spilled onto the roadway gallons of diesel fuel did. So, in addition to a crane and heavy-duty tow truck at the scene, hazardous material crews were also called to the site.

The highway, both the north and southbound lanes, is expected to be closed for several hours. That meant a nightmarish morning commute for some drivers who said the normal time on the road tripled.

Driver Sharice Brodie said her drive is normally, "No more than 45 minutes with traffic, but today it's been almost two hours!"

No one is believed to have been injured in the crash.
