Pilar Sanders Jailed For Contempt In Child Custody Case
COLLIN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - Deion Sanders' ex-wife Pilar has been sentenced by a Collin County Judge to spend seven days in jail.
A judge found her in contempt for failing to return their children as required by a custody agreement.
The judge originally ordered her jailed for 30-days but suspended and probated the sentence, but as part of probation she must serve a week in the Collin county jail.
The pair were in court today for a hearing in a defamation suit Sanders filed against his ex-wife.
Deion Sanders is seeking up to $1 million in damages, claiming she published false statements on social media accusing him of child abuse, assault, and attempted murder.
