FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM)  - The Peruvian Association of Dallas Fort Worth brought some holiday cheer to the halls of Fort Worth ISD's Eastern Hills Elementary School by donating dozens of gifts to students.

According to Fort Worth ISD news release, a PADFW representative Patty Henderson and her husband, Doug, personally delivered the gifts to the school and assisted District 2 Trustee Tobi Jackson, Principal Paula Brooks and her staff, and Eastside Alliance Director Charles Hodges in presenting the gifts to the children on the last day of classes prior to the holiday break.

In addition, Mrs. Henderson made a generous donation of gift cards on behalf of the PADFW to an Eastern Hills Elementary family of six to help them with gifts and other necessities.

"Random acts of kindness like this often go unrecognized, and we want to express our gratitude to the Peruvian Association, Patty and Doug Henderson and the many people who contributed to make the lives of some of our students brighter during the holidays," said Mrs. Jackson. "Just seeing the big bright smiles from our precious students and tears of joy from the family of six who can now afford a holiday celebration is all the reward any of us needed."
