Perry Heads Back To New Hampshire

BEDFORD, N.H. (AP) - Back in New Hampshire, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry is touting his ability to compromise, but says Iran is an exception.
At a business breakfast Thursday, Perry said his experience working with Democrats as governor would serve him well in Washington. But when the next questioner asked him about the letter Republican senators sent to Iran's leadership, he said he some issues are too important for compromise.
The letter warned that unless Congress approved it, any nuclear deal Iran cut with President Obama could expire once he leaves office. Perry says he would have signed it, and says Obama is "naively miscalculating" Iran's intentions.
Perry dropped out of the 2012 presidential race after finishing sixth in New Hampshire's Republican primary. He has yet to declare his plans for 2016.
