ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - CBS11 has confirmed the City of Arlington will continue with the pedicabs roaming three streets around AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park.

Mayor Jeff Williams says the city will look at stricter enforcement of existing codes.

The city was considering shutting down the people-powered taxi cabs according to one of the options in a briefing council will hear Tuesday.

The city report cited safety concerns about their operation. Some pedicab drivers said they felt they had been targeted by people at city hall who don't want them here.

"We are considered the pests that are allowed to be here even though people love having us out here," said pedicab operator Michael Kahlig.
