WEATHERFORD (CBSDFW.COM) - The Parker County Sheriff's office says a Springtown woman's been arrested for providing marijuana and alcohol to minors at her home during a party.

Deputies arrested Mandy Nichole Wells, 32 last Thursday.

They say the alleged  party happened at her home in the 300 block of Meadow Road.

The Special Crimes Unit identified eight children between 12 and 14 years old who attended the party.

A search warrant of the home resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff's office says Wells admitted to possessing the pot and alcohol and offering it to the children at the party.

According to the probably cause affidavit, Wells told the kids they, "could all drink some beer since they were spending the night."  Wells later told investigators she "allowed the children to smoke and drink but she kept them under control... the children did get high but did not require any special attention... she thought for a minute that it (giving beer and marijuana) was a bad idea but she did it anyway."

Investigators also say Wells admitted to "Self-medicating" a child because the child's medication was not working.

Wells is charged with second-degree felony delivery of marijuana to a child and a Class A misdemeanor for giving alcohol to a minor.
