DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit has made two arrests for Sexual Assault as part of the department's Cold Case Sexual Assault Kit project. The arrest is a result of the testing of hundreds of Sexual Assault kits that had previously gone untested.

Mark Allen Norton, 41 of Dallas and Christopher Allen Davis, 43 of Rockwall, have been charged with the Sexual Assault of a woman in 2008.

The victim said she went to Davis's home at the request of Norton, with whom she was acquainted. Police say, the suspects, working together, sexually assaulted the victim who was incapacitated at the time of the assault from drugs.

Norton was arrested for the Sexual Assault in this case on January 5, 2016, and is currently being held at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center on a $150,000 bond.

He has previous convictions for narcotics.

Davis is currently incarcerated in The Texas Department of Corrections for multiple counts of Possession of Child Pornography and four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
