One Person Dead After Shooting In Grand Prairie

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW) - Police have arrested two suspects on suspicion of shooting a Grand Prairie man on Thursday.

Joe Robert Salas, 27, and Jessie Alexander Luna, 31, were taken into custody by authorities Friday afternoon.

Detectives were able to locate a handgun believed to have been used in the murder of  JePatrick Jenard Morgan-Wright, 21..

Officers responded to the scene in the 2300 block of Hardy Road on Thursday afternoon and found Morgan-Wright unresponsive.

Morgan-Wright was rushed to Dallas Methodist hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Both suspects were charged with murder and remain in the Grand Prairie Detention Center.
