One Dead, One Wounded In Overnight Shooting In Mansfield

MANSFIELD (1080 KRLD) - One man has died in a late-night shooting that rocked an otherwise quiet neighborhood in Mansfield.
According to police, gunfire erupted at a home on Aspen Court, a block from Brooks Western Middle School, just before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Reports say two men were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where one of them died early Wednesday morning after unknown suspects entered the residence and opened fire.
Police identified 21-year old Ethan Matthew Walker of Mansfield as the deceased.
The other unidentified man was treated and released.
Citing an ongoing investigation, police are not saying what the shooting was about.
Police did not provide any information on a possible suspect.
