One Caught (And Shot), Two Wanted For Aggravated Robbery In Mesquite

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - For the fourth time since February, armed robbers hit the Chevron at 3828 US Hwy 80 in Mesquite.

Mesquite Police say officers responded at 1:20 a.m., one minute after a voice-activated radio-dispatched alarm.  They nabbed one man who had run from the store and fell in a field after being shot in the shoulder.  Myron Keith Brown, 46 is in custody and being treated for his wounds.

The store clerk says one suspect showed a gun and the clerk began to fight him for control of it.  During the struggle the gun fired striking the suspect in the shoulder.  The gun fell to the floor and another suspect hit the clerk on the head with it.  With the clerk on the floor, the suspects filled bags with merchandise and cash from the register, then took off.

Suspect #2- At-large, Is a black male, thick build, wearing a black rag on this head and appears to have medium length hair. He wore a blue bandanna around his neck, a black T-shirt and dark pants with tan work boots.

Suspect #3- At-large, Is a black male of average build, wearing a tan/olive shirt with a design on the front, dark long shorts, black socks and black flip flop sandals, and a white rag on his head.

Arrests have been made in all of the previous robberies.
