(AP) - Big 12 runner-up Oklahoma State will play Pac-12 runner-up Colorado in the Alamo Bowl, matching teams that used to be in the Big 12 and Big Eight together.

Oklahoma State (9-3) had a seven-game winning streak until losing 38-20 Saturday at Oklahoma to determine the Big 12 championship.

Colorado (10-3) had won six in a row before losing to 41-10 to Washington in the Pac-12 championship game Friday night.

While the Buffaloes are in their first bowl game since losing to Alabama in the 2007 Independence Bowl, Oklahoma State is playing in a bowl game for the 11th consecutive season, and 14th time in 15 years.
