FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - Frisco firefighters are monitoring natural gas levels related to a 1.25 inch gas line break under the 4000 block of Legacy Drive. As a result, northbound Legacy – south of Longview – is shutdown. Motorists are being diverted towards the Dallas North Tollway.

Frisco dispatch was first alerted at approximately 3:22 p.m. this afternoon. The first Frisco Fire department units arrived at approximately 3:29 p.m.

A fire engine, an ambulance and the department's HAZMAT, Rescue and Safety units are responding.

Firefighters say the break is the result of construction crews working in the area.
