WICHITA FALLS (AP) – Police say a North Texas man has been charged with capital murder in a double slaying this month in Wichita Falls.

Records at the Dallam-Hartley County Jail, which is north of Amarillo, show 23-year-old Jermar Jamie Fuller of Wichita Falls is being held Tuesday on $4 million bond. No attorney is listed for Fuller, who faces return to Wichita Falls.

Police say William Samuel Rankin and David Wayne Phillips were found shot to death on October 10th in Rankin's home. Investigators haven't released a possible motive.

Wichita Falls police also learned that Fuller led a trooper on a chase through the Texas Panhandle the same day as the murders. Fuller's car crashed and officers seized two handguns. Ballistic tests determined shell casings at the murder scene came from one of the guns.
