FORT WORTH (AP) - A North Texas man has been charged with raping three women he met through social media in separate attacks reported since January.

Tarrant County jail records show 21-year-old LDarrius Djuan Garner of Watauga was being held Tuesday on three counts of sexual assault and one robbery charge.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the robbery count involves a fourth woman.

Bond was $665,000 for Garner, who was arrested June 7. An attorney for Garner says he denies forcing anybody to have sexual relations against their will.

Fort Worth police Sgt. S.L. Thomson says the investigation began after one woman reported being assaulted. Investigators identified other cases involving social media.

Thomson says Garner befriended the victims, picked them up, drove the women to remote areas and attacked or robbed them.
