COPPELL (CBS11) – A group of four area Taekwondo athletes are gearing up to represent the U.S.A in the 2015 Pan American Junior Sparring Championship in Aguascalientes, Mexico in early September.

15-year old Sydney Stoyanoff from Trophy Club is one of them and said, "I'm pretty excited. I'm nervous. A lot of pressure."

Her teammate 14-year old Austin Tram added "It's really an honor to represent the USA in Pan-American championships in Mexico and I'm just looking forward to the competition."

The athletes have been training at the NTA Training Center in Coppell under the coaching of Master Sang Cha. Collectively the four athletes have already claimed more than a dozen titles this year.

Ms. Sydney Stoyanoff, Ms. Trinity Sullivan, Mr. Austin Tran, and Mr. John Bishop will head for Aguascalientes on September 7th and join other juniors for the tournament.
