North Texas Gets "KISS"ed Today

I won't lie. I nearly broke my fingers back in August 1979 trying to be the 102nd caller (using a rotary phone) in my quest to win tickets to see KISS in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

It didn't matter that I was in the 7th grade and my parents would never let me go. I figured if I won, they'd have to give in. Sadly, it never got to that point. I would have to be happy listening to "I Was Made For Loving You" on the radio during the Top 8 at 8.

We're told that time heals all wounds and it does. I've seen KISS several times...even did the Peter Criss "Dressed To Kill" album photo deal for Halloween.

But all these years later, I finally had the chance to talk with KISS' Paul Stanley.

Paul and long-time band member Gene Simmons have a North Texas appearance today, Tuesday May 10th at the Grand Opening of their restaurant "Rock & Brews".

Give the interview a listen. We talk the KISS tour, Bulls and torn Biceps. And please forgive my giddiness.
