Nordstrom At NorthPark Center Put On Lockdown Friday

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Nordstrom at NorthPark Center was on lockdown Friday night.

A police spokesperson said officers were investigating a disturbance outside. There were no shots fired.

Sources told CBS11 an argument over cab fare led the customer to pull a gun on the driver.

Police confirmed the investigation was regarding a dispute over cab fare, and said the suspect left the scene before officers arrived.

NorthPark Center released this statement around 8:30 p.m.:

"NorthPark Center is aware of the situation and is cooperating with the Dallas Police Department. The safety of our customers is of the utmost importance and is always our highest priority."

As of 8:50 p.m., the scene was back to normal. Police are investigating.
