No Injuries After Dallas Officer Opens Fire

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Dallas are investigating a situation that resulted in an officer firing his weapon. The incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning in the 9700 block of Forest Lane, near the LBJ Freeway.

The shooting took place in an alleyway behind a building. Police have not released details about why officers were at this location or what may have caused the officer to open fire.

Nobody was injured during the shooting. Investigators are now at the scene trying to determine exactly what happened.
