New Details On Officer Involved Shooting Suspect

McKINNEY (CBS11) - Court records tell the story of Joseph Khammash, 35, long before he's accused of holding his ex-wife and their four-year-old daughter against their will, then shooting at McKinney police Wednesday evening.
Police returned fire, killing him.
Lynn Church, a resident at Khammash's McKinney apartment complex, the Cliffs of Eldorado, says a clue came ten days ago when police were searching for his apartment.
"There was a detective a week and a half ago that I saw pull in, someone I hadn't seen before and it looked like he was looking for something. We asked him what we could help him with and he specifically was looking for 1109."
He may have been trying to serve him a protection order.
A Collin County judge signed the order against Khammash two weeks ago, September 9.
Records show he had to stay away from his ex-wife and their daughter and not possess a firearm or ammunition.
In May, Khammash was accused of criminal trespass after entering her home.
Records say the couple got divorced in February.
Church says she is still shaken by the incident. "It was just a little unnerving. "Apparently, it was pretty close because I could see all the yellow tape. I looked around my vehicle to see if my car was shot. You don't know where bullets could fly."
Relatives of Khammash and his ex-wife declined comment.
