New DART Line Extends Through Oak Cliff To UNT Dallas Campus

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - DART light rail and bus passengers will notice some changes starting today.
Starting Monday the DART Blue Line will now extend an additional 3 miles, all the way to the UNT Dallas campus in south Oak Cliff.
Morgan Lyons with DART says that rail extension is just one of the changes which take effect Monday.
The Dallas Streetcar will also begin operations at 5:30 a.m. each morning, and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE), between Dallas and Fort Worth, will begin more frequent service on the weekend.
