Much Needed, But Little Rain Possible

Just before noon today a front has stalled across NTX and will continue to drift south through the afternoon into the evening.

Temps south of the front are in the low to mid 80s. There in an outflow boundary that has worked into the North side of the metroplex and switched winds around to the N. This outflow boundary will continue to shift S and stop the southward progression near the I-20 corridor.

I still think highs today will reach the lower to mid 90s.

Rain chances across NTX sit at 30% today and tomorrow but not everyone in NTX will see rain. The showers will be pop up showers and storms so if you are lucky enough to get a shower then say a nice thanks to mother nature.

There are rain chances through the 4th of July holiday but mainly in the afternoon. Keep your fireworks plan in place because we should have a great night for the 4th!

The remainder of the holiday weekend looks warm. Temps warm into the mid to upper 90s.
