DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -  The Dallas County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on a hit and run accident involving a motorcyclist and a black Chevrolet Corvette.

It happened Monday, December 7, around 10:20 a.m.

Deputies say Max Mills, 38, was driving a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX600-R southbound on IH-35 between Raceway and Regal Row.

He is in critical condition with severe head trauma, according to the Sheriff's office.

Witnesses at the scene state the motorcycle was racing a new model black Corvette.

The victim was in the right lane when witnesses say the Corvette cut across from the left lane to the right lane clipping the front tire of the motorcycle causing him to crash.

The black Corvette kept going.

The Sheriff's Department has no license plate information on the Corvette or driver description. The sports car should have back end damage on the right side.

Anyone with information can call the Dallas County Sheriff's Department Vehicle Crimes Unit at 214-589-2335 or 214-589-2325.
