FRISCO (CBSDFW) - For more than a year, Frisco police have been investigating a controversial murder-suicide. Now KRLD has learned some details of a note found at the scene, a note that has not been publically released.

The note was left inside the Frisco home of Sumeet Dhawan and his wife Pallavi who had been arrested for the January 2014 death of 10-year old son, Arnev.  A family attorney has been demanding release of the letter....thinking it may clarify what caused Pallavi to kill her husband then take her own life one year ago.

Frisco Police now say they are working with their attorney to determine how much information about the case release.  But sources tell KRLD news that Frisco police have met with Dhawan family members within the last week and have shown them the note.  The sources say the note is vague and can be read either as Pallavi was hounded to her breaking point, as the attorney has claimed,  or that she was admitting to killing her son.  Sources say that Frisco police had not given up proving that point.

The note, sources say, was written in two different colors of ink....most likely because the first pen ran out.

Pallavi, the sources say, accused Sumeet of being unfaithful...and did not take direct responsibility for the boy's death.  The Collin County medical examiner ruled Arnev's death was most likely from a preexisting medical condition.
