DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Cowboys players have re-written the NFL record book. Tony Dorsett has the longest run in NFL history. Emmitt Smith rushed for the most yards in NFL history. But, did you know that a Cowboys player holds the record for quickest touchdown ever scored in the NFL?

It took only three seconds.

In 2003, the Cowboys squared off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a showdown of NFC East rivals. On the opening kickoff, the Eagles tried to surprise the Cowboys by attempting an onside kick. It was the Eagles that ended up surprised.

Randall Williams fielded the onside kick and raced 37 yards to the end zone.

When the dust settled, only three seconds had ticked off the clock, and the Cowboys had a 7-0 lead on their way to a 23-21 victory.

It is the fastest touchdown ever scored in the NFL.
