Moment 36: Aikman's 76-Yard Touchdown Pass

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Cowboys opened the 1999 season by spotting the Washington Redskins a 35-14 lead. That's when Troy Aikman went to work.

Aikman led Dallas on three touchdown drives in the final 11 minutes of the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Emmitt Smith scored on a short touchdown run to start the rally. Aikman then found Michael Irvin for back-to-back touchdowns of 37 and 12 yards to tie the game at 35 all.

But the real show came in overtime, when Aikman hit Raghib "Rocket" Ismail for a 76-yard touchdown to cap the team's 41-35 victory. The dramatic win over the rival Redskins tied the franchise record for the largest comeback, and it is the 36th greatest moment in Cowboys history.
