DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Former LSU head coach, Les Miles, remains on the job hunt for at least another few weeks.

Miles, who was fired on September 26, can't help but want another shot at a power five conference head coaching position. And appears that at least one school has him on their radar.

According to Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, Miles is on the short list of candidates at Baylor.

"I'm making myself available to search firms," Miles told CBS Sports. "I'm communicating the best I can."

According to Dodd, Baylor is using high-profile search firm Eastman & Beaudine to at least help identify its next coach.

Acting coach Jim Grobe has led the Bears to a 6-3 season after taking over for the fired Art Briles. They host Kansas State this Saturday before finishing on the road with Texas Tech and West Virginia.

The 63-year-old Miles went 114-34 at LSU.

Dodd mentions Cal's Sonny Dykes and North Carolina's Larry Fedora as other prominent names for the Baylor opening.
