Texas Rangers Legend Michael Young With Ben & Skin

DALLAS, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - Just days after announcing he was retiring from Major League Baseball, Texas Rangers legend Michael Young makes an in-studio appearance with the Ben and Skin show.

Right off the bat, Young talks about the joys of returning to Texas after playing with the Rangers for 12 years. Young also gives his thoughts on his retirement from the game of baseball at age 37.

PART 1

 

Talking more about his retirement ceremony at Rangers Ballpark, Young said "I wish people would know how great a relationship we had," referring to Texas Rangers GM Jon Daniels. "But obviously things went sideways for a while, but I think we are better people because of it."

Young also shared personal moments on his relationship with Rangers skipper Ron Washington.

PART 2

 

Staying active and staying busy is going to be Young's main focus, telling Ben & Skin, "but long term wise, I definitely want to get back into baseball."
