MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Mesquite have linked the same suspects to two separate aggravated robberies that happened on January 12.

The first robbery happened around 9:00 p.m. at the Burger King in the 1900 block of North Town East Boulevard.  Less than an hour later, a At Shell Gas Station (Ziggy Mart) in the 4700 block of North Galloway Avenue was robbed.

Three male suspects were involved in both robberies.  Police say, the first suspect would always walk into the location, display a gun and demand money. Officials say the gunman was clearly working in concert with the other suspects.

Employees at both locations handed over unknown amounts of money, after which the suspects ran away. After the robbery at the Shell station, all of the suspects ran in the same direction.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment in the case. Anyone with information about the crimes or the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS; or contact Mesquite police at 972-285-6336.
