Mesquite PD Release Video Of Gun-Weilding, Bike Riding Bank Robber

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Mesquite have released video of the man who robbed a local bank and then made his escape on a bicycle.
The robbery happened on October 15 just before 4 p.m. The suspect walked into the Patriot Bank, in the 1400 block of Oates Drive, and pulled out a gun.
Tellers inside the bank said the man demanded money from two of the workers. The bank tellers complied and handed over an unknown amount of money. The man grabbed the cash, ran out of the building and rode away on a bicycle.
The suspect is described as a Black male standing between 5'6" and 5'8". He has a slender build and at the time of the robbery was wearing a red, long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, a black mask, black gloves, and a white helmet.
Anyone with information about the armed robber or the bank robbery is asked to call Mesquite police at 972-285-6336 or contact Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
