Mesquite Bank Robber Uses Fake Beard, Wig As Disguise

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are looking for a man who walked into a Mesquite bank on Tuesday afternoon with a 1970s type disguise.

It happened at the BBVA Compass Bank, located at 801 W. Kearney, on March 31 about 2:01 p.m.

The suspect, described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 5'10" and 210 lbs., walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller.  He was wearing a black hoodie, fake wig, fake beard and sunglasses.  He fled the scene in a black Ford Focus sedan.  A dye pack exploded inside the getaway car before the suspect threw some of the money out of the window.

The suspect did not display a weapon or hurt anyone during the robbery.
