McKinney Home Destroyed After Early Morning Fire

McKINNEY (CBSDFW) - A home in McKinney is destroyed after an early morning fire.
According to fire officials, flames broke out just after 2:00 a.m. Friday in the two-story home on Silverlake Road, just south of the Stonebridge Ranch Country Club.
Reports say the family was not home at the time.
Investigators think the fire may have been sparked by lightning. Thunderstorms were moving the area at the time.
