Mavs Salah Mejri Has Right Knee Surgery

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Dallas Mavericks center Salah Mejri underwent arthroscopic surgery for a "right knee debridement" Thursday morning, according to the team.

The surgery was performed at Dallas' Carrell Clinic by team physician Dr. Daniel Worrel.

Mejri (7-2, 235) averaged 3.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 11.7 minutes per game in 34 games (six starts) as a rookie with Dallas last season.
