DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - The Dallas Mavericks announced that forward Chandler Parsons underwent arthroscopic surgery on Friday.

According to the Mavs organization the surgery was performed by team physician Dr. Daniel Worrel at The Carrell Clinic in Dallas.

Parsons will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season.

Parsons spent much of this season rounding back into form after the hybrid-microfracture surgery he underwent last May on this same knee.

In the last two months, he's averaged about 19 points, six rebounds and three assists per game looking healthy for a Mavs team trying to look competitive.
