Mavs' Chandler Parsons Undergoes Knee Surgery

DALLAS (CBSDFW) - The Dallas Mavericks have announced that injured forward Chandler Parsons underwent arthroscopic surgery today to address a cartilage injury to his right knee.

According to the Mavs, the surgery was performed by Dr. T.O. Souryal at Texas Sports Medicine. A timetable for Parson's return to basketball activities has not yet been determined.

Parsons played in 66 games (all starts) in his first season with the Mavericks. He was forced to sit out Game 2 of the playoff series against the Houston Rockets - then was ruled out for the rest of the series/season.

He has been bothered by this knee injury to varying degrees since late March.
