Mavericks Roster Set After Releasing Ndour

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - The Dallas Mavericks have trimmed their roster to the NBA mandated size of 15 by releasing forward Maurice Ndour.

Ndour was signed to a partially guaranteed three-year contract after a strong showing in the NBA Summer League with the New York Knicks.

Ndoura averaged 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 22.8 minutes per game in the preseason. He missed the final three games with a left tibial stress reaction.

The Mavericks roster for the season opener against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday is as follows:

Centers: Zaza Pachulia, JaVale McGee, Salah Mejri

Forwards: Dirk Nowitzki, Chandler Parsons, Dwight Powell, Jeremy Evans, Justin Anderson, Charlie Vilanueva

Guards: Deron Williams, Wesley Matthews, Devin Harris, J.J. Barea, Raymond Felton, John Jenkins
