ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Arlington Police detectives busted a large marijuana grow operation in a rental house Thursday according to Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson on social media.

Chief Johnson says an Oncor worker responded to the residence to investigate a diversionary theft of electricity. While there, the worker reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the house and notified police.

Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant and seize more than 90 plants before they ended up on the streets.

The whole house was being used to further this criminal endeavor according to Chief Johnson.

Police arrested one suspect.
